Thursday, the Justice Department released a presser detailing the 192-month sentence for a Jamaican national for his role in a fraudulent sweepstakes scheme targeting the elderly. The DOJ missed the opportunity to address foreign money schemes that continue to rise.

41-year-old Damone Oakly of St. James Parish, Jamaica, after being extradited to the United States in 2022, pleaded guilty the following July to two counts of mail and wire fraud.

From 2010 to 2019, he targeted the elderly through the mail, text messages and phone calls, falsely claiming they had won millions of dollars and luxury vehicles. The winners would have to simply pay taxes and fees to claim their prices.

The DOJ states that Oakley would instruct his victims to purchase electronics, clothing and jewelry as well, which were forwarded to Florida and, ultimately, to his address in Jamaica.

Hundreds of thousands of dollars were lost from the victims as a result of the Jamaican national’s criminal actions.

Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Brian M. Boynton characterized the crime as “prey[ing] on vulnerable and elderly” in the release, focusing much of the attention on the victim rather than the fact these schemes have become fairly common throughout the US.

The US Postal Inspection Services (USPIS) Criminal Investigation Group, Inspector Eric Shen, stated that scammers now operate “beyond our borders [and] felt with they could operate with impunity. Those days are gone.” The Post Inspector’s plan is to track down scammers with the Department of Justice.

Still, others believe in bipartisan legislation through the Enablers Act. The law would expand the Bank Secrecy Act in order to place anti-money laundering checks on corporate and trust formations that sideskip the American financial system.

In July, Gary Kalman of Transparency International US, a “dark money” corruption watchdog, told Townhall about these small to large foreign rackets.

“There’s a lot of dirty money coming into the United States from what you would normally consider to be high-risk countries, largely African, South American [and] Asian countries,” said Kalman.

He told the outlet that “kleptocrats” essentially steal state money off of taxes and public coffers and utilized “sophisticated investment strategies,” run[ning] it through a bunch of secrecy jurisdictions, set up a bunch of anonymous companies…”

It’s actually a big part of the Sinaloa Cartel’s heroin and methamphetamine stranglehold over dozens of US states, operating through a series of so-called “shell” companies. Some of these companies are even owned by citizens, such as the notorious building in Delaware, noted by The Washington Free Beacon.

Human trafficking is another aspect. As of 2018, the Polaris Project reported 6,000 illicit massage businesses in the US, with more than 70% without ownership.

Kalman said the key is to attack the “kingpins.” They are the top of military in South American countries, drug lords and cartel leaders. Through these illegal business operations, the gangs operating south of the border do not necessarily need a foot in the door.

The criminal help is already here domestically, regardless of the border crisis. This is an adjacent matter to secure the US financial system from predatory foreign nationals.

Pennsylvania Democrat Senator John Fetterman blasted Communist China’s takeover of the U.S. agriculture sector and the mass Chinese purchase of American farmland, telling his Senate colleagues that China should own “zero” farmland in the United States and that the U.S. should “take back” the American farmland that China already owns.

The remarks from Fetterman came during a U.S. Senate Agriculture Committee meeting on the foreign ownership of American farmland and agricultural production as well as its impact on both food and national security. Specifically, a portion of the meeting focused on American farmland that’s owned by Communist China and other foreign American adversaries, and that discussion teed up the Pennsylvania Senator’s remarks, which have shocked many considering his far-left political leanings.

“Let me say I hope many of our colleagues agree, the Chinese government and other U.S. adversaries should own zero, zero agricultural land in our country,” Fetterman said.

“I believe that,” Fetterman added, going on to align the seizure of Chinese-owned farmland to the Chinese Communist Party’s recent demand that the U.S. return panda bears from Washington, D.C.’s National Zoo to their Chinese homeland.

While Fetterman’s remarks on seizing Chinese farmland in the United States have sent shockwaves through both liberal and conservative circles online, it is an important example of the intersection of left-wing and right-wing populism. Subscribers to both schools of thought are opposed to global groups of government and corporate elites exerting ownership and control over the United States, especially ownership and control over a means of production as important as American agriculture.

It should, however, be noted that as things currently stand, the likelihood of Washington actually taking action to seize American farmlands from their CCP owners is rather low, considering the massive extent of influence that the Chinese Communist Party has exerted over America’s government.

As extensively investigated and reported by National File, multiple Chinese Communist influence operations have ensnared dozens, if not hundreds, of members of Congress, on both sides of the aisle.

Kevin McCarthy: Subject of a Counterintelligence Investigation – Foreign Influence

During a Tuesday morning appearance on CBS News, Paul Ryan said he does not want to fight the culture war because he views the culture war as polarizing. Ryan is viewed by many as a key player in Ron DeSantis’ 2024 presidential campaign.

CBS anchor Nate Burleson asked Paul Ryan inaccurate questions about Republican state lawmakers saying, “Republican lawmakers around the country are pushing legalization it comes to banning bokes could be trans rights, is that a good way to approach the game?”

Ryan responded to Burleson’s question with, “I am not a culture war guy. I think it’s really polarizing. To me, I am worried about the future of this country. There are big policies that we need to talk about. My work at AEI and Notre Dame is all about poverty and upward mobility. Culture War politics is good primary politics. But for me, I am an old Jack Kemp guy.”

Ryan fails to take into account that a large portion of American employers are woke. Currently, workers at these woke companies are allowed to express personal liberal views while conservative workers are fired. How can Ryan believe that you can lift people out of poverty without canceling ESG first?

Ryan is viewed as a critical part of Ron DeSantis’ presidential campaign. Ryan is on record saying he will not attend the 2024 GOP Convention in his home state of Wisconsin if Trump is the nominee. Many believe that Ryan played a major part in Tucker Carlson’s departure from Fox News.

Trump has also called out DeSantis for being a disciple of Paul Ryan, writing on Truth Social, “Ron reminds me so much of both of them. He is a Paul Ryan disciple. He is a Mitt Romney lover, and I rate him as a twin. And we don’t want Paul Ryan, and we don’t want Mitt Romney around all the time.”

DeSantis’ culture war politics mirrors what Ryan is saying. DeSantis acted tough against Disney, claiming he removed Disney’s self-governing ability, but in reality, DeSantis did little to push back against the woke corporation.

All Deep State agencies, including the CIA, knew months in advance of Ukraine’s plans to blow up the Nord Stream pipelines, says The Washington Post. This fact was discovered after Germany’s official investigation of the Nord Stream incident matched Jack Teixeira‘s top-secret documents that he leaked on Discord. Joe Biden blamed Russia after the sabotage while Trump told Tucker Carlson that Russia was not behind it.

The WaPo reports the top secret documents that they have in their possession from Jack Teixeira’s Discord account match the German police investigation into who blew up the Nord Stream Pipeline. Worse, United States intelligence officials knew about this plot for months before the attack happened, The WaPo reports.

German officials believe 6 highly trained Ukrainian military divers rented a boat under fake names and used the vessel to transport themselves to the pipeline, where they dove and blew it up, though many are finding this hard to believe are suggesting that the United States had a hand in the attack, considering Ukraine’s special military capabilities severely lag behind those of the Western World.

Joe Biden had previously said, “If Russia invades…then there will be no longer a Nord Stream 2. We will bring an end to it,” signalling that Ukraine, and quite possibly the United States, were prepared to strike.

Despite knowing it was an outright lie, Joe Biden and his administration blamed Russia for the Nord Stream explosion and accused anyone saying otherwise of pumping out “Russian Disinformation.” Right after the explosion, Biden told reporters, “It was a deliberate act of sabotage. Now the Russians are pumping out disinformation. We will work with our allies to get to the bottom of what happened… But don’t listen to Putin. What he’s saying we know is not true.”

45th President Trump took a significantly different tone than Biden. When Tucker Carlson asked Trump, “Who blew up the Nordstream pipeline?”

Trump answered, “I can tell you who it wasn’t Russia. How about when they blamed Russia? They said Russia blew up their own pipeline. You got a kick out of that one too.”

It turns out, Donald Trump was right again.

The letter begins with a clear warning that there will be consequences if Chase’s political discrimination continues, “It is clear that JPMorgan Chase & Co. (Chase) has persistently discriminated against certain customers due to their religious or political affiliation. This discrimination is unacceptable. Chase must stop such behavior and align its business practices with the anti-discrimination policies that Chase proclaims.”

The letter also highlights specific examples of Chase discriminating against conservative organizations, ” In 2021, a credit card processor—owned by Chase—terminated the account of Family Council, a conservative, pro-life organization. That same year a company called WePay, which is also owned by Chase, refused service to a conservative group because WePay equated conservative views with “hate, violence, racial intolerance, [and] terrorism.”

Cameron and the 18 other Republican AGs wrote that they fear residents of their states could have their bank accounts canceled by Chase simply for being conservative, “This pattern of discrimination means that many Kentuckians, and many residents of the states represented by the signatories to this letter, are at risk of being de-banked without notice or recourse.”

The Republican AGs ended the letter by writing, “We call on Chase to stop its religious and politically biased discrimination and start living up to its commitment to an inclusive society where everyone feels welcomed, equal, and included. Participating in the survey component of the Viewpoint Diversity Score Business Index would be a positive first step.”

The World Economic Forum proudly lists JP Morgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon as one of its members. Dimon has also advocated ESG investing, which benefits woke capital by financially incentivizing companies to hire woke employees and adopt woke standards.

Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron is the leader of the letter. Cameron is currently running for the Kentucky Governorship. President Trump’s endorsement of Cameron leads many to believe Cameron is the frontrunner in the race.

JP Morgan Chase has yet to respond to the letter.

National Legal and Policy Center Chair Peter Flaherty was arrested this past weekend at the Berkshire Shareholder Proposal Presentation in Omaha, Nebraska. Before his arrest, Flaherty was speaking about his support for Prop 8, which the NLPC sponsored. According to Flaherty, Prop 8 would separate Berkshire from Buffett’s political projects. Flaherty sighted Buffett’s close relationship with Bill Gates as a primary reason to support Prop 8 and in doing so, reminded the audience of Gates’ relationship with globalist pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

Before his arrest, Flaherty attacked Buffett’s relationship with Gates, saying, “I am Peter Flaherty, Chairman of the National Legal and Policy Center. If we had an independent chair, the Company would be less identified with Mr. Buffett’s political activities. He’s donated tens of billions to the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. As Bill Gates explained when the couple was still together, “Although the foundation bears our names, basically half our resources have come from Warren Buffett.”

Flaherty continued attacking Gates and woke capital, saying that “If ‘woke’ culture is a disease, then philanthropy is the virus. The Gates Foundation bankrolls the teaching of Critical Race Theory around the country, including that math is inherently racist. The Gates Foundation offers a Gender Identity Toolbox, which asserts that gender is the result of ‘socially and culturally constructed ideas.’ This is a lie. Gender is not a cultural construct. It is a genetic and biological fact.”

Following Flaherty’s opening comments, a woman walked over and attempted to take his microphone away. Flaherty responded to the woman’s actions by saying, “You are not going to censor what I say, ma’am. I’m very sorry. And I appeal to the Chair that I will be allowed to continue. Sir?”

Flaherty wrapped his remarks up by saying, “Of Course, we know how much Bill Gates cares about children. He met and traveled with Jeffrey Epstein many times after Epstein was convicted of sex crimes. The Gates Foundation had a huge influence over the COVID response fiasco. Bill Gates defended China’s COVID policies and still discounts the possibility that the virus originated from a lab, even though U.S. intelligence agencies disagree. The Gates Foundation may be the largest single donor to the dark money machine known as Arabella Associates. It funds causes like defunding the police that are making American cities unlivable.”

In a statement released on Tuesday, Michigan State Senators Lana Theis, Ed McBroom, Joe Bellino, Dan Lauwers, and Kevin Daley asked federal lawmakers for help in their probe, writing, “We are writing to urge you to use all federal resources available to immediately investigate whether Gotion High-tech Co., Ltd., as registered on the Swiss Stock Exchange, has ties or contracts with foreign countries that have an adversarial relationship with the United States of America, In light of the time sensitivity of this matter, we kindly request that you work to take swift action. Your prompt attention to this issue is greatly appreciated, and we look forward to hearing from you soon.”

The Michigan lawmakers’ statement described Gotion as a company with ” direct ties to the CCP, which presents a national security risk, the plan has come under scrutiny for its secrecy and lack of oversight, which may present environmental and public safety risks as well.”

Gotion recently released a statement praising their work with the Taliban, “The representative of the company thanked the leadership of the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum and asked for an investment in the lithium sector of Afghanistan and said that he wants to invest $10 billion in the Lithium Mines of Afghanistan, which will provide employment for more than 120,000 people directly and one million people indirectly.”

Gotion and Governor Whitmer have yet to comment on the Michigan State Senators letter release.

French protesters took over a BlackRock office in Paris on Thursday. Protests against French President Emmanuel Macron started in March when the government of France proposed to raise the retirement age. BlackRock is one of the largest retirement asset firms in the world. BlackRock has close ties with the Chinese Communist Party.

Hundreds of protesters carrying flares, waving flags, and screaming chants stormed BlackRock’s Paris office location. Protesters occupied the building for around half an hour before dispersing.

Protester Jerome Schmitt, who participated in the Paris BlackRock protest, told French station BFM-TV, “The meaning of this action is quite simple. We went to the headquarters of BlackRock to tell them: the money of workers, for our pensions, they are taking it.”

Another protester told Reuters, “The union action in the historical Centorial building near Paris’ Grand Boulevards area, targeted BlackRock because of its private pension fund activity.”

Following the BlackRock protest, French President Emmanuel Macron activated over 11 thousand riot police across France. Smoke and fire can still be seen across Paris as protesters and riot police continued to clash in the streets of Paris after BlackRock’s storming.

BlackRock has exceptionally close ties with the Chinese Communist Party. BlackRock Chief Executive Officer Larry Fink has repeatedly bragged about BlackRock’s ability to do business with the CCP saying, “We are honored to be in a position in which we can support more Chinese investors access financial markets.” BlackRock is also listed as a partner on the World Economic Forum’s website.

Interestingly on Wednesday night, Frech President Emmanuel Macron tweeted, “I am convinced that China has a major role to play in building peace. This is what I have come to discuss, to move forward on. With President XI Jinping, we will also talk about our businesses, the climate and biodiversity, and food security.”

National File can exclusively report, per a high-ranking, well-sourced Hill staffer, that Rep. Jim Jordan rejected a request from Kevin McCarthy and his closest supporters to publicly swear off the speakership when he stood to nominate McCarthy for the role.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has announced his intentions to attend the World Economic Forum’s Davos summit next month, as well as a partnership with globalist private equity firm BlackRock Inc. to “rebuild” Ukraine after what Zelensky insists will be a victory over Russia.

Zelensky told the people of Ukraine in a recent address to the nation that BlackRock “specialists” are already helping Ukraine to build a “reconstruction” fund, and that next month, he’ll take part in the World Economic Forum’s infamous Davos summit.

“Specialists of this company (BlackRock Inc.) are already helping Ukraine to structure the fund for the reconstruction of our state,” Zelensky told his nation during his recent address.

According to Zelensky’s presidential webpage, he recently held a video chat with Larry Fink, the CEO of BlackRock to hammer out details of the “preliminary” reconstruction agreement they struck earlier this year.

A darling of the global “powers that be,” Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has appeared via video stream numerous times before the WEF, and multiple fawning articles on the group’s website document the WEF’s admiration and open support of Zelensky and his government.

He’s also met with the WEF in person, joining its billionaire founder, Klaus Schwab, on stage.

Schwab and the WEF have repeatedly spoken of their plans to “capture” various seats in government, through the sponsorship of politicians all over the world, to streamline the implementation of their draconian agenda.

Zelensky didn’t specify in his address to Ukraine whether or not he will appear at Davos via video stream, or attend the summit in person.

On a recent in-person trip to Washington, on which Zelensky demanded more money for Ukraine as he addressed a joint session of Congress, the Ukrainian President was criticized for appearing in “costume” – a sweatshirt and military-style fatigues.

Throughout the current phase of the Russo-Ukrainian Conflict, Zelensky has appeared on video in military-style garb, and a viral video has documented the extensive use of Hollywood effects and propaganda methods to spread his message around the world.
