Rep. Carol Miller of West Virginia’s 1st Congressional District voted to fund the Green New Deal policies of Joe Biden and the radical left and has supported numerous other environmentalist-backed bills including new regulations and federal land grabs. The legislation that Miller supported threatens to destroy the energy sector of West Virginia, which provides critical resources like coal, natural gas, and oil to the rest of the country, and the world.

Rep. Carol Miller voted in 2022 for the more than 2,700-page, $1.5 trillion omnibus spending package after Democrats held the entire federal government’s budget at ransom to force McCarthy Republicans like Carol Miller to grovel to them, rather than take a stand, and ultimately fund Green New Deal-style government subsidies for green energy and climate policies. The legislation was later signed into law by Joe Biden and was also supported by West Virginia Democrat Senator Joe Manchin and the donor class.

The policies haven’t just made America’s energy production and consumption less efficient, they’ve torn away America’s status as an energy-independent nation and threatened the jobs of the energy sector workers who have kept America going despite constant attacks from radical environmentalists.

This includes energy workers in West Virginia which, despite its relatively small geographical size, is the #3 energy producer of all states in the Union and has been known for decades, all around the world, as an energy production powerhouse.

In fact, many of the state’s issues with poverty have come as a direct result of environmental radicals deliberately destroying the job market.

And attacking the energy sector on behalf of Green New Deal radicals is just one piece of the monstrosity of a spending bill that Carol Miller supported.

Additionally, the $1.5 trillion omnibus bill funded gun control, included billions more dollars for Ukraine, and failed to reverse the COVID-19 “emergency” order and jab mandates that have cost Americans their lives.

And the omnibus vote was far from an aberration.

Carol Miller has supported additional environmentalist-backed legislation multiple times, giving billions of dollars to the federal government to do everything from killing fish the government doesn’t want in certain lakes, to helping the government seize control of more lands, to helping the government form “cohesive stories” about America’s heritage and the history of certain geographical areas.

Newly-inaugurated Argentine President Javier Milei betrayed the populist agenda that got him elected on his very first day in office, as he announced that Argentina will not be leaving the Paris Climate Accord – something Milei vowed to do during the campaign as he called climate change a hoax that’s being promoted by globalists.

Immediately after his inauguration as President of Argentina, Javier Milei sent “veteran climate diplomat” Marcia Levaggi to the UN’s COP28 climate summit in Dubai, to quell fears among the global elite and assure them that Milei won’t follow through with his promise to withdraw Argentina from the Paris Climate Accord.

The broken promise comes as Milei is both praised and derided as a right-wing populist and Trump-like figure who disrupted decades of left-wing rule in his home nation.

It also came on the same day that Milei released a video of himself announcing the end of multiple government ministries and taxpayer-funded left-wing pet projects.

It’s worth noting, however, that despite the Milei-Trump comparisons, as President of the United States, Trump actually followed through with his own campaign promise to pull the United States out of the Accord, and called the decision a “historic restoration of American economic independence.”

Is Javier Milei a World Economic Forum Sleeper Soldier? 

Central to the Paris Climate Accord is a pledge to massively reduce carbon emissions by abandoning so-called fossil fuels and the other mechanisms that power developed nations.

With the Accord long endorsed by the World Economic Forum and other globalist organizations, the climate treaty has been criticized for years as a population control scheme that will eventually demand the reduction of human-produced carbon, once the goal of limiting other carbon emissions is reached.

Under the Accord, Western nations, like the United States, must agree to massively cutting all carbon emissions down to “net zero,” while nations like Communist China are expected to do far less, in what is quite obviously a plan to cripple the Western World and pivot global production and influence sharply toward China.

The World Economic Forum’s backing of the Paris Climate Accord becomes all the more interesting when it is realized that before running for President of Argentina, Javier Milei was affiliated with the WEF, even attending its Forum on Latin America in 2014, as the globalist organization made a heavy push into Latin America that continues to this day.

Video footage is being shared online showing that TikTok nurses have returned with their choreographed dance routines that became notorious during the days of COVID, but this time, they’re dancing in protest of “climate change” that they claim will wipe out the world’s population.

Video footage that was originally recorded last fall is making the rounds on social media, showing a group of nurses staging a choreographed TikTok dance in protest of the “climate change” that they claim is on the cusp of ending the world and killing off the people of earth.

The TikTok dance was filmed in the UK in protest of short-lived Prime Minister Liz Truss who, before resigning after just over a month in office, was slammed by European climate hysterics for what they claimed was a continued embrace of so-called fossil fuels and other climate change bogey monsters.

“Here’s our manifesto, Liz,” the nurses sang to the tune of the disco song “Stayin’ Alive”.

“Fires, floods, and extreme heat hurt more than just our dancing feet,” they sang, working their way through their song before staging a “die-in” and attaching mock death certificates to one another, in an effort to claim that the human population will die-off en masse as a result of “climate change.”

Their claims resemble those of teenage Swedish climate hysteric Greta Thunberg who, in 2018, predicted that the world would end due to so-called climate change by the spring of 2023 – a period of time that has come and gone, yet the world still spins.

The nurses’ climate dance has drawn comparisons to the height of COVID lockdowns when people all over the world were being shut in their homes, their livelihoods destroyed, as the doctors and nurses they were told were saving them were routinely posting elaborate choreographed dances to the CCP-aligned TikTok app. In many of the videos, the medical staff wore the very Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) that the world was told was in short supply, soiling it with outdoor elements of unsanitary hallway locations for the sake of TikTok, instead of saving it to wear while “treating” patients.

A nationwide cold front has overtaken virtually the entire continental United States this Memorial Day weekend, leaving revelers hoping to mark the unofficial start of summer with cookouts and newly-opened swimming pools “out in the cold.”

Beaches and pools nationwide have been closed for Memorial Day weekend, the unofficial start of America’s summer season when families and friends usually plan to bask in warm weather and gather at their favorite swimming spot or around the grill to mark the day set aside to remember America’s fallen warfighters. According to a live national weather map published on Saturday morning, parts of the United States are barely above the freezing mark, and overnight on Friday into Saturday, several localities did report sub-freezing temperatures.

Though temperatures are expected to rise a bit over the weekend, that hasn’t stopped coastal cities from closing their beaches, pointing the finger at cold water and air temperatures that could cause a safety risk if crowds were to decide to brave the weather.

Particularly hard hit by the cold front is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, a typical Memorial Day gathering point for people from all over the Southeastern United States and those from further up the East Coast.

There, temperatures are expected to rest in the 60s and have prompted local authorities to make Myrtle Beach one of the cities to close its famous beaches this Memorial Day.

In other parts of the country, like on the Great Lakes, water temperatures are reported to be in the 40s and 50s, and Memorial Day partiers are being warned to stay out, or risk dying of hypothermia.

In other places, local pools have announced that they’ll delay their typical Memorial Day weekend opening, thanks to the cold.

The bout of late May cold weather for virtually the entire United States comes as climate alarmists and “global warming” enthusiasts insist that the earth is getting ready to boil over. Many of those same climate alarmists were claiming two decades ago that by the current year, Washington, DC, and multiple other East Coast cities would be underwater, because of “rising sea levels” due to “global warming.”

Obviously, that hasn’t happened, though many Americans might not complain if the DC swamp was overtaken by water, washing away the federal government.

President Joe Biden spoke with a group of Manhattan donors about the possibility of nuclear war Tuesday.

Biden called global warming “the single most existential threat to humanity we have ever faced, including nuclear weapons,” the New York Post reported.

“Reporters were only allowed to see part of Biden’s remarks, and video of the private event was not immediately available,” the New York Post added; it is unknown if Biden elaborated on his climate change comments.

This message comes just three months after the 46th president told other New York donors the world was at risk of nuclear “Armageddon” as the Russia-Ukraine conflict heightened.

In October, Biden warned that Russian President Vladimir Putin was “not joking when he talks about the potential use of tactical nuclear weapons or biological or chemical weapons because his military is, you might say, significantly underperforming.”

President Biden said the current threat of nuclear weapons was historically unprecedented. “First time since the Cuban Missile Crisis, we have the threat of a nuclear weapon if, in fact, things continue down the path they are going.”

“We have not faced the prospect of Armageddon since Kennedy and the Cuban Missile Crisis,” he added.

Late last month, the Democrat governor of New York fueled the fire behind the climate change agenda with comments blaming “climate change” for a blizzard that rocked the state.

“The conditions, the blinding snow, the zero visibility, absolute whiteouts. It may go down as one of the worst in history,” Gov. Kathy Hochul said in a press conference.

“It’s very clear to me that the effects of climate change are wreaking havoc everywhere,” Hochul added.

Betty Buffalo, a citizen of Erie County, spoke with The National File on Monday about how Hochul and the New York powers-that-be handled the emergency so far.

“I’m totally biased. I don’t like her. We have all Democrat leaders and they all suck! I think she could have deployed more national guard in preparation,” Betty said.

“The storm wasn’t called a bomb cyclone for nothing! They should have closed everything down Friday. People were still at work or leaving. Not everyone was out shopping. They enforced the travel ban as the storm started,” she said.

Betty criticized Erie County Executive Mark Poloncarz.

“I don’t know. It’s not all on her though,” Betty added. “Our County Executive, Mark Poloncarz, is Second in Command here. The fact they had to shut down 911 services is terrifying. If you had a medical emergency at your house you may as well say your last rites because you were a goner.”

“I think our area as a whole should be better prepared. This is Buffalo. We are known for our snow! And we just had that awful storm last month. You think they would figure it out by now,” Betty critiqued.

“Some of the stories were awful. Some people stranded in their cars froze to death. In the city bodies were found frozen in the snow. 911 services were suspended so people having medical emergencies were left to die,” Betty said.

Betty stated that the current blizzard which hit Western New York is larger in magnitude than the Blizzard of 1977, which hit Western New York and Southern Ontario. She also asserted that the actual death toll has likely already exceeded triple digits.

“I was only 5 during the Blizzard of ’77. But my mom said this was worse. There is a lot of debate as to things that could have been done better in preparation etc. which I agree with. I have been hearing that there are over 100 people dead. I’m sure more. For 3 days some people were without power. Old people especially may not survive the cold,” Betty said.

Betty said that despite the tragedy, that “kindness and neighborly love” won the day.

“There are a lot of heartwarming stories too, how people let strangers in their home that were stranded,” Betty said. “There was some looting in the city, but there was more kindness and neighborly love more than anything.”

“I live in Western New York. This whole area is considered ‘Buffalo.’ I live in the Town of Amherst. We were the hardest hit. About 20 minutes from the city of Buffalo. Most of what I know I hear from the radio or on social media,” she added.

Betty also clarified that a fake news story about a Walmart being looted was actually from the 2020 BLM riots in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

“And if you see a story about a Walmart being looted, it’s not true. It was from Philadelphia during BLM Riots [of 2020]. There were just a handful of stores in the city that got trashed.”

This is false information.

A survey conducted by the UK-based eco-grocery startup Modern Milkman found that more than 70 percent of children between the ages of 7 and 12 now have anxiety due climate change.

According to a report from Euronews, the survey polled 1,000 children within the age bracket between 2010 and 2015. It asked for their views on the environment and whether they were concerned about climate change, among other things.

In total, 71% of respondents indicated that climate change is a source of fear and anxiety in their lives.

More than a quarter (27%) of surveyed children said that harm to animals is a chief concern, while one-in-four cited effects of plastic pollution. Almost a fifth of children pointed to a fear of rising temperatures.

“The results show that environmental challenges are having a prominent effect on the children of today, proving that it’s never been more important to educate communities on the actions they can take to protect our planet,” said Simon Mellin, the CEO and founder of Modern Milkman.

In terms of action, the vast majority of respondents (85%) said every individual has a responsibility to tackle climate change.

The study comes as massive increases in mental health issues affecting children have been reported across the western world in the aftermath of pandemic-related lockdowns and remote learning. A 2020 report from the CDC stated that 44% of American teenagers reported feeling “persistent feelings of sadness or hopelessness.”

20% indicated that they had contemplated suicide, while another 9% stated that they had attempted to kill themselves.

A more recent survey from the U.K. found that 54% of girls between the ages of 16 and 17 reported experiencing “elevated psychological distress” over the last twelve months.

Climate change-related anxiety, commonly known as “eco-anxiety,” has been an increasing issue among children in recent years, numerous studies have found. The growing issue comes as schools increasingly focus on an often-bleak outlook of the planet’s future.

Joe Biden has entered the United States into a Maoist “climate reparations” scheme that punishes America and the West for building the modern world while exempting Communist China, the world’s top polluter, from making payments. The taxpayer money Biden sends abroad will be handed over to third-world governments, many of which are globally notorious for corruption.

The “climate reparations” agreement emanates from the infamous Paris Climate Accords but was officially struck at the recent COP27 summit in Egypt, where global government leaders and others met to address what they claim is a Western-driven global warming and climate change phenomenon.

The end result of the summit was Joe Biden unilaterally signing the United States up to pay climate reparations to third-world countries, for the supposed “loss and damage” they’ve suffered at the hands of car-driving, goods-producing Westerners.

The plan was signed without the consent of Congress or the American people, after US “climate envoy” and longtime environmental alarmist, John Kerry, claimed just weeks ago that it was a “well-known fact” that the reparations deal would never go through.

“That’s just not happening,” Kerry claimed before it happened.

According to a Wall Street Journal opinion piece, while House Republicans don’t have to actually appropriate any money to the “climate reparations” fund, Biden and company could take alternative routes to fund the climate scheme, including through development bank monies and fossil-fuel producer shakedowns.

“The Biden Administration’s surrender shows again that the religion of climate change is progressive penance for the sin of being prosperous,” the WSJ column reads.

While Biden has put the United States on the hook for untold billions worth of “climate reparations” to third-world countries that are already receiving massive aid payouts, Communist China, the world’s most notorious polluter, will be exempt from the scheme.

According to a report from Reuters, while Communist China claims to support the “climate reparations” fund, it won’t actually be contributing any cash.

“We strongly support the claims from developing countries, especially the most vulnerable countries, for claiming loss and damage compensation because China is also a developing country and we also suffered a lot from extreme weather events,” says CCP “climate negotiator” Xie Zhenhua.

“It is not the obligation of China but we are willing to make our contribution and make our effort,” Xie went on, parroting the Maoist talking points so often used by the CCP to demonize the West and martyr Communist China.

A Canadian bank, Vancity, has launched a new credit card that tracks the “carbon footprint” of the account holder. As part of its commitment to “climate action,” the bank has partnered with a company that measures the “carbon footprint” of every transaction, including rent payments. Users can then compare their monthly carbon footprint to the national average.

Vancity announced that they would be partnering with ecolytiq to become “the first financial institution in Canada to provide a Carbon Counter on your Visa credit card,” in an October 19 press release.

Starting in 2023, users will be able to track the estimated carbon emissions of their credit card purchases. Members will be able to see which credit card purposes have the highest “carbon costs” and will be able to compare their estimated emissions with the national average.

Users will also be provided with advice on how to reduce or better manage their individual carbon footprint.

“We know many Vancity members are looking for ways to reduce the impact they have on the environment, particularly when it comes to the emissions that cause climate change,” said Jonathan Fowlie, Vancity’s Chief External Relations Officer who oversees the credit union’s impact and climate efforts.

“As a member-owned financial cooperative, we believe it is our job to do everything we can to help, especially when it comes to the decisions people make with their money. This tool will equip Vancity Visa credit cardholders with valuable information on their purchases and enable them to connect their daily spending decisions to the change they want to see in the world.”

In order to implement the program, Vancity has partnered with ecolytiq, a company billed as “one of Europe’s leading climate engagement technology companies.” Together, the two entities will create the first “Visa Carbon Counter” in Canada.

“Discouraged by the lack of global efforts to keep pace with the ever-growing urgency of climate change, ecolytiq cofounders Ulrich Pietsch and David Lais decided to encourage action by giving the power to the people through rethinking the role retail banking has to play in the fight against climate change,” reads ecolytiq’s company description.

The company allows banks, fintech companies and financial service providers to show their customers the individual “impact” their purchases are having on the environment in real time. The ecolytiq software calculates personal environmental impacts, such as CO2 values, on the basis of payment transactions.

“We are breaking new ground here,” said Ulrich Pietsch, ecolytiq Co-Founder and Managing Director. “We developed a White Label solution to offer financial institutions all over the world an agile and effective way to offer their customers tools to forge a better tomorrow. With the launch of Carbon Counter, Vancity is solidifying its role as a leading sustainability innovator both in Canada and in the global banking world.”

In addition to helping users get an estimate of their carbon footprint, the program will provide insights into lower emission options. The “Carbon Counter” will offer using spending tips and other advice on how to best lower their emissions and move towards more “sustainable” options.

A minister within the German government’s left-wing coalition is calling for an end to a nationwide ban on fracking in order to cope with recent energy woes. Germany has been affected by continent-wide energy shortages as a result of sanctions on Russian oil. In 2021, Germany received 34% of its crude oil imports from Russia.

The energy situation was further complimented after the destruction of both Nord Stream pipelines, which were constructed to transport natural gas between Germany and Russia. Nord Stream 2 was never completed, but Nord Stream 1 was operating at 30% capacity until earlier this year.

While neither pipeline was in operation at the time of the blast, their destruction has taken an option off the table, prompting the nation to look elsewhere.

Some German ministers have raised fears that the country’s gas supply could run out over the winter. “If everything goes well, savings in Germany are high and if we have a bit of luck with the weather, we will have a chance at getting through the winter comfortably,” German Federal Economy Minister Robert Habeck said last month. “That means, however, that the storage facilities will be empty again at the end of the winter — in this case really empty, because we are going to use the gas,” he added.

As the crisis continues, officials have scrambled to meet the nation’s energy needs through a variety of ways. To that end, Christian Lindner, Germany’s Federal Finance Minister, is pushing for fracking to be legalized in Germany.

According to a report from German newspaper Der Spiegel, Linder has criticized the government’s reluctance to abandon or amend its climate change goals despite the fact that gas stockpiles could run out by the end of February. The minister has pushed for his colleagues to put ideological issues they have with the technology used for domestic drilling and evaluate the crisis at hand.

“We have to approach the funding quickly,” Linder said. He went on to list a number of potential fracking sites within Germany, adding that domestic demand is there.

“I am confident that in a few years we will be able to cover a relatively large demand from domestic gas sources,” he continued. “It’s advisable to do that when you look at the developments in the world.”

“It would be rather irresponsible to avoid fracking for ideological reasons,” Lindner argued. The last line appeared to be a jab at his own ruling coalition, which includes the climate alarmist Green Party.

Despite growing demand and the approaching winter, Chancellor Olaf Scholz has largely resisted calls to explore significant energy alternatives at the expense of his party’s climate goals. In one example, Scholz’s government attempted to prevent a handful of nuclear power plants to remain operational until the end of 2023, despite the fact that the power generated by those units is badly needed.

The German government is expected to push back in a similar way on fracking, Der Spiegel reported. Robert Habeck — who also serves as the nation’s climate minister — has vocally criticized fracking technology in the past. “We have a clear task: reduce the amount of energy we consume, at all levels,” he said earlier in the year.

While a lift on Germany’s fracking ban may be unlikely, the nation has taken small steps to lessen the burden at the expense of the government’s climate goals. As National File previously reported, Scholz’s government approved the return of three coal power units to the market. In order to return the units, which were previously slated for decommissioning, the government was forced to dismantle an adjacent wind farm.

Teen climate activist Greta Thunberg has even softened her stance against nuclear energy in face of the crisis. Recognizing that the country has dire energy needs, Thunberg recently said that between nuclear power and coal, she would prefer the former.
