On Tuesday, Elon Musk spotlighted the conservative gamer crowd by reposting and commending former Bungie music composer Marty O’Donnell’s run for Congress.

O’Donnell, known for his work in Halo and Destiny soundtracks, announced his bid for office as a Republican running for Nevada’s 3rd Congressional District on Saturday in a lengthy editorial post on X.

He stated that he was ready to retire but was “tired of seeing the leaders of our country being influenced by the toxic divisions that are tearing apart our family and society.” O’Donnell’s post discussed the rising cost of everyday items, home ownership and dwindling incomes.

In the post, he railed against government spending, corporatism, “big tech, big pharma, [and] big media … all trying to control big government in Washington DC.” O’Donnell pledged to work to contain our borders and national sovereignty, adding:

For my whole life, in every place I’ve ever lived, I’ve seen people working to provide for their family. Values like self-sacrifice, faith, integrity, fidelity, and valor are simply part of who these people are. They do these things not because the government tells them to, but because they know the right things to do – moral obligations that are freely chosen, not mandated by a government.

O’Donnell also remarked on traditionalism being ostracized in modern culture, attributing that to the suffering of children:

Years of ridiculing and demeaning old fashioned ‘family values’ have taken a toll. Our society’s strength, fundamentally linked to the vitality of the family structure, has been eroded. I want to champion the traditional family as critical for a child’s development and success.

O’Donnell’s pitch resonated with Elon Musk, who reposted his hopes for more candidates of such enthusiasm, passion and duty. Musk’s rather tepid endorsement still drew concern from those on the left.

Brian Krassenstein, a “political journalist” reformed as a binary left-wing activist, argued Musk’s actions as being election interference. Krassentein cried that it leaves an “impression of bias” and would not have been tolerated if former CEO Jack Dorsey promoted a political candidate.

Krassentein admitted that Dorsey influenced the platform’s political landscape but still has an issue with Musk’s loose endorsement.

When the owner amplifies an overwhelming amount of specific views by reposts, likes and comments, isn’t that the same thing bottled up in different packaging though?

Krassentein will undoubtedly remain bent that the owner of one of the largest social media platforms has endorsed or instead hinted at an endorsement of a Republican. Perhaps this is the beginning of X’s true mission, as it has been remiss on the issue of free speech.

Video game publisher Electronic Arts is reportedly banning players whose username contains “Kyle Rittenhouse,” citing an “Inappropriate Reference” to “Violence, Terror, and Tragic Events.” Rittenhouse was acquitted in November after shooting three BLM rioters in Kenosha, Wisconsin in 2020.

“Hello, We received a report about your account or profile name. It may be the name you created on another platform. it may be the name you created on another platform,” a message circulating on Twitter reads.

The message continues, “This name breaks our Positive Play Charter because you may have used words or phrases that harm others or negatively disrupt the game.” The notice does not explain how words or phrases contained in video game username could “harm others.”

EA then reportedly goes to on to list the violation as an “Inappropriate Reference” to “Violence, Terror, and Tragic Events.” While the shooting of convicted pedophile Joseph Rosenbaum and two other men could possibly be construed as a “Tragic Event,” the law has ruled that there was absolutely not any acts of “Terror” perpetrated by Kyle Rittenhouse.

The official account for Rittenhouse’s legal took notice of the censorship reportedly imposed by EA on Thursday, writing simply “Interesting…” to the screenshot posted by BlazeTV host Elijah Schaffer, who had written “So @EA is banning anyone with the username Kyle Rittenhouse cc @freekyleusa @Jillie_Alexis”

EA recently released the first-person multiplayer shooter game Battlefield 2042, which has been widely panned by many players for its performance, gameplay, map design, and live-service monetization choices.

Much was made by prosecutors in their failed case against Kyle Rittenhouse about whether or not the 18-year-old had a history of playing first-person shooter video games. Though the awkward attempt to link games to violence was unsuccessful, the question did reignite passions on the left wing against the supposed “white supremacy” and “gun violence glorification” in gaming.

Epic Games has disabled all emotes in the Fortnite Martin Luther King March Through Time event after players used various emotes while interacting with the bizarre in-game exhibit. This marks the second time a black grievance campaign launched by the game has failed in spectacular fashion, after players threw tomatoes at a BLM exhibit last year.

For unspecified reasons, Epic Games decided to place an interactive MLK exhibit in Fortnite, complete with speech footage and racist segregated water fountains. The exhibit was presented with grave seriousness and appeared to be utterly devoid of humor.

Fortnite players, known for their carefree attitude and sense of humor, promptly showed up at the virtual exhibit and began using the game’s hundreds of dance and gesture emotes, including the “floss” and “gangnam style.” The “whip crack” emote was also reportedly used, though National File could not find footage of this prior to publication.

Fortnite promptly put out a statement declaring, “All emotes have been disabled in the March Through Time experience except the 8 that are part of the experience.”

Fortnite had preemptively disabled the tomato-throwing emote ahead of the MLK event, after players used it last year during the in-game BLM exhibit in July 2020, as reported by National File:

On July 4, video game studio Epic Games made the bizarre decision to host an in-game Black Lives Matter panel called “We the People,” in which players of the ultra-popular battle royale game Fortnite would be forced to watch CNN commentator Van Jones, rappers “Killer Mike” and “Lil Baby”, and other BLM activists pontificate about left-wing race politics on massive in-game projection screens.

The Fortnite playerbase, which primarily consists of adolescent children, did not display the reaction to the profoundly tone-deaf in-game event that Epic Games and partner Opus Studious were hoping for. Van Jones’ stern visage on the in-game projection screens was unceremoniously pelted with tomatoes from nearby vending machines, which supplied an infinite stock of the digital vegetables. The other lecturers were met with similar treatment over the course of the nearly hour-long event, which was then looped for 24 hours in every single game server.

Ubisoft’s multiplayer tactical third-person shooter Rainbow Six Siege has added a transgender operator to the game, whose ability revolves around transforming maps by deploying transparent portable shields that they transport on their person around the map. Corporate game journalists are transfixed in admiration for the new character, who is the first transgender operator in the game.

PC Gamer reports that the new character Osa, “brings a gadget to her team that the defenders would probably love to steal: redeployable, transparent, waist-high bulletproof walls that can attach to windows, doorways, or anywhere on the ground,” with the author claiming that the character could become their new main in the game. The article notes that the character is voiced by a transgender voice actor, and that “Siege’s roster has become more diverse in recent years, which feels like a win for a game that began with a very white, male-dominated roster.”

Game art director Alexander Karpazis declared, “We haven’t kept it a secret, the Rainbow team is diverse. And we quite frankly love that inclusivity, that representation where anybody can come into the game and find somebody that they can relate to, want to play, and can see as a role model. Osa is just that, another operator that comes from a diverse background.”

Corporate journalists across Twitter gushed over the character, claiming Osa could revive Siege’s flagging playercount. Unfortunately, actual Rainbow Six players were less enthused. In the comments section for the character gameplay reveal on IGN, players pointed out the character’s similarity in gadgetry to other operators already in the game, reused weapons, and the lack of a new map being produced for the game in several years.

Top comments on the reveal include observations such as “Can not wait to not use this operator,” “We need new maps, and literally nobody wants another OP shield operator,” and “Why does it seem like Ubi doesnt have any actual operator idea designers, they just reuse and slightly alter old operators and think that’ll fix it.”

Computer manufacturer Dell will no longer be shipping high-end Alienware gaming PCS to liberal-controlled states such as California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Vermont or Washington due to new restrictions on “energy efficiency” implemented in July 2021. California will begin banning “computers with high-speed networking capability, multi-screen notebooks, notebooks with cyclical behavior, and monitors with high refresh rates” in December.

Prospective buyers perusing the selection of Dell PCs on the Alienware website were greeted with the following stipulation attached to higher-end listings: “This product cannot be shipped to the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, Oregon, Vermont or Washington due to power consumption regulations adopted by those states. Any orders placed that are bound for those states will be canceled.”

Shortly after news of the situation broke on Monday, Dell told British tech website The Register that “Yes, this was driven by the California Energy Commission (CEC) Tier 2 implementation that defined a mandatory energy efficiency standard for PCs – including desktops, AIOs and mobile gaming systems. This was put into effect on July 1, 2021. Select configurations of the Alienware Aurora R10 and R12 were the only impacted systems across Dell and Alienware.”

California first approved restrictions on computers which do not meet liberal standards of energy efficiency in 2016, claiming that such mandates would “save more than 2.3 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity a year – equivalent to annual electricity use by all the homes in San Francisco – and avoid 730,000 tons a year of climate-disrupting carbon pollution from fossil fuel-fired power plants.”

The first set, or Tier 1, of requirements took effect in January 2019. Tier 2, which took effect in July 2021, extends the mandate to desktop computers and mobile gaming systems and devices. On December 9 of this year, the Tier 3 restrictions will take effect, cracking down on “computers with high-speed networking capability, multi-screen notebooks, notebooks with cyclical behavior, and monitors with high refresh rates.” Other blue states, including those listed by Dell on its website, have followed California’s lead.

“Five Nights At Freddy’s” game designer Scott Cawthon has announced his retirement from developing or working on new titles in the FNAF franchise, days after being doxxed and threatened by a contingent of left-wing activists on Twitter who were upset with some of his donations to political figures.

“I’ve had a blessed, fulfilling, and rich career,” Cawthon wrote in a blog post on his website this week. “I’ve been shown great kindness and I’ve tried to show great kindness in return. I’ve tried to make some good games (let the debate ensue), and I’ve witnessed the creation of possibly the most creative and talented fanbase on the planet.”

The FNAF creator continued, “I miss making games for my kids, I miss doing it just for fun, and I miss making rpgs even though I stink at it. All of this to say that I am retiring. I have been shown tremendous love and support over this last week, a lot of which has come from the LGBTQ community. The kindness shown to me has been surreal.”

“Is this the end of FNAF? No,” Cawthon stated. “This just means that someone else will eventually be running the show; someone of my choosing, and someone that I trust. We will have to wait and see how it all plays out, but an announcement will be made at some point.”

The statement concluded with Cawthon asking FNAF to respect his decision to retire, and stating, “What a blessed career I’ve had; what wonderful people I’ve met; and what a tremendous blessing to have been able to know all of you. Thank you so much. See you on the flipside.”

As National File previously reported, Cawthon had released a statement on Reddit in which he made clear that he would not apologize or submit to the woke mob, and revealed that people had threatened to come to his home after his personal information had been posted online. A Twitter mob had pushed Cawthon’s name to the trending page of Twitter last week, making bizarre comparisons of the game designer to “literal fascists” because he donated money to Mitch McConnell, Donald Trump, and Tulsi Gabbard.

This message isn’t specifically directly at the Freddit community; this is just the community that I care about the most and where I choose to post these things. I never cared much for Twitter anyway.

To say that the last few days have been surreal would be an understatement. I’ve debated greatly how best to address this, including not addressing it at all, but with so many people from the LGBT community in the fanbase that I love, that’s not an option. I’d like to think that the last seven years would have given me the benefit of the doubt in regards to how I try to treat people, but there I was, trending on twitter for being a homophobe, getting doxed, with people threatening to come to my house. My wife is six weeks pregnant and she spent last night in fear because of what was being said online. She has already been struggling with her pregnancy so seeing her so afraid really scared me. All this because I exercised my right, and my duty, as an American citizen, to vote for and support the candidates who I felt could best run the country, for everyone, and that’s something that I won’t apologize for.

For those who took the time to look, you saw that the candidates I supported included men, women, white people, black people, republicans, and democrats. I supported Kimberly Klacik in Baltimore because I believed that she really cared for the African American community there and wanted to pull them out of poverty. I believed she could have really make a difference in a time when so many black communities were struggling. She lost, unfortunately. I supported Tulsi Gabbard, a democrat, even though I disagreed with her on several issues, because I felt she would have been a good and fair president. And yes, I supported President Trump, because I felt he was the best man to fuel a strong economy and stand up to America’s enemies abroad, of which there are many. Even if there were candidates who had better things to say to the LGBT community directly, and bigger promises to make, I believed that their stances on other issues would have ended up doing much greater harm to those communities than good. All of this explanation, I fear, is wasted, as people don’t want to discuss with one another anymore; they want endless apologies and submission. People who are expecting those from me will get neither.

I’ve always been supportive of creators, and have tried to treat everyone fairly, and treat everyone with dignity and respect. I’ve never cared about anyone’s race, religion, gender, or orientation. I just treat people as people, everyone the same, and because of that, I’ve ended up with a very diverse group of people that I’ve worked with over the years. It wasn’t intentional. It just happened that way. I choose people who are best for the job; I treat everyone the same, and I ended up with people from all walks of life in my professional life and my personal life as well. That’s the way it should be. That’s the way I want it to be. That’s the way I will continue to be.

I’m a republican. I’m a Christian. I’m pro-life. I believe in God. I also believe in equality, and in science, and in common sense. Despite what some may say, all of those things can go together. That’s not an apology or promise to change, it’s the way it’s always been.

If I get cancelled, then I get cancelled. I don’t do this for the money anymore; I do it because I enjoy it. If people think I’m doing more harm than good now, then maybe it’s better that I get cancelled and retire. I would accept that. I’ve had a fulfilling career. Besides, most things that people can take from you are things that never had much value to begin with.

I have always loved, and will continue to love, this community and this fanbase, even if someday it doesn’t include me anymore.

LGBTQIAP+ and left-wing amateur activists on Twitter.com were devastated on Thursday that video game designer Scott Cawthon, creator of the immensely popular “Five Nights At Freddy’s” franchise, is a Christian philanthropist who has a given away a substantial portion of his personal wealth to various charities and organizations, including Republican candidates for office.

Despite the fact that the invasive donor lookup records posted to Twitter appear to reaffirm that Cawthon is a charitable and generous individual, left-wing users hyperfixated on the fact that Cawthon reportedly contributed to several Republican candidates, including Ben Carson, Mitch McConnell, Kevin McCarthy, and Donald Trump.

The news that Cawthon, who had made several video games pre-FNAF with Biblical and Christianity-oriented themes, may have different political opinions from several subsets of the FNAF fanbase threw said subsets of fans into a rage on Twitter.com Thursday afternoon.

Even after performing extensive research, National File could not uncover anything of value that was created in the Twitter.com conversation about Cawthon’s private charitable and political donations.

An upcoming video game developed by Corpix Studios and published by Ultimate Games S.A. will allow players to take on the role of a riot control police officer and suppress violent protests through various means, including the use of tanks and water cannons.

Riot Control Simulator’s game description reads, “Your daily job is to keep the people of this city safe, above all, protests happen now and then. This time, however, something is different. The country is changing, and people are taking to the streets. When frustration grows, the whole country might suffer. Protests are already happening in every major city. Do you think you can stop it? Despite the dictatorship, you still have a job to do. After all, the law is the law.”

Players will have to navigate through volatile crowd control situations through diplomatic or heavy-handed means, as “Aggression leads to more hostility, and if you overdo it, the whole masses will fight back. Molotov cocktails, stones, and batons will be an enormous threat to you, while shield and helmet can save your life.”

“You have heavy vehicles and crowd-breaking gear at your disposal,'” the description reads. “Nothing seems to stop protesters’ zeal more than a stream of water from a water cannon. As a last resort, you can even call in a tank to restore order. Wait a sec! Isn’t it too much?”

The game has attracted some attention from left-wing activists who claim the game is “racist’ because it is under development at the same time as violent Black Lives Matter riots threaten to engulf the United States in real life.

However, none of the marketing or promotional materials for the game seem to indicate any influence from political ideology, and the gameplay is set in an apparently oppressive dictatorship.

A four-year-old boy was referred to Prevent, the UK government’s counter extremism task force, over comments he made at school about playing Fortnite.

The boy was allegedly overheard during an after-school club session talking about “guns and bombs” that were apparently in his father’s shed, and was referred to the Prevent scheme, which is the UK government’s counter-extremism strategy, designed to tackle prospective terrorists, and de-radicalize them before anything happens.

However, according to The Guardian, transcripts of a conversation with the worker at the club in September 2019 clearly highlighted that the reference to weapons was to do with Fortnite. The boy had been to his father’s house the previous night, and had been enthusiastically recounting watching his cousin playing the game to his friends.

“The office sent me all the information, including the transcript of that conversation. It’s quite clear he mentioned Fortnite,” his mother said. “He’s just a little boy with an imagination. The teachers should know in this setting that [children] have imagination. They know exactly what kids are like, and what young boys are like.”

Despite the boy clearly talking about Fortnite, police turned up to the family house at 10:30 p.m. to question them under the Prevent scheme.

“It could have gone really wrong. I worry armed police could have come to my house and, you know, arrested the parents, with social services getting involved,” the mother said. She added that the officer was also uneasy about taking the case, but had to “follow the Prevent flowchart.”

“He was in the same place as me really. You know: ‘Why have they done this?’ He said if they had any major concerns, they wouldn’t have sent him by himself,” the mother continued.

“We should all be free to express ourselves and go about our daily lives without being monitored for what we think or believe – and to grow up in a society where we feel safe to express our thoughts and opinions,” said Rosalind Comyn, the policy and campaigns manager for the pressure group Liberty.

“That’s why it’s so worrying that hundreds of children barely old enough to tie their own shoelaces are being profiled as potential future criminals based on things like the video games they play or the perceived views of their families,” Comyn added.

According to a freedom of information request by The Observer, the boy in question was one of 624 under-six-year-olds referred to the Prevent scheme between 2016 and 2019.
