Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano currently leads the GOP field for the Keystone State’s Senate primary in 2024. Mastriano — who previously ran for governor in 2022 — will be aiming to unseat Democrat incumbent Bob Casey, who has served in the U.S. Senate since 2007.

In one of the first polls gauging the upcoming campaign, a Public Policy Polling survey has Mastriano receiving 39% of the vote among 616 likely Republican primary voters.

Former hedge fund CEO David McCormick was the poll’s runner-up with 22%, while Kathy Barnette received 11%. McCormick and Barnette both sought the GOP nomination for the state’s other Senate seat in 2022 and currently find themselves in their respective finishing positions from that race in the Public Policy Polling survey.

McCormick narrowly lost to Dr. Mehmet Oz, ultimately coming up short by just 1,000 votes or so. Barnette enjoyed a late surge among America First conservatives to finish third.

In a head-to-head matchup, Mastriano led McCormick 42% to 28% with 29% unsure.

Additionally, the poll found Mastriano with a 47% favorability rating among GOP primary voters. 22% held a favorable view of McCormick, though a majority of voters (65%) remain unsure. Barnette had similar results with 17% of respondents indicating a favorable opinion while 67% remain unsure.

Mastriano has not yet committed to running for the Senate seat in 2024, though he did tell Politico that he is mulling the prospect in an interview last month. Incumbent Senator Bob Casey has not formally announced his re-election bid either. The longtime Senator previously announced that he was undergoing cancer treatment earlier this year, prompting prayers and well wishes from both his colleagues and opponents.

Tennessee Legislature Moves to Expel Dem Lawmakers Who Participated in Anti-Gun Insurrection https://nationalfile.com/tennessee-legislature-moves-to-expel-dem-lawmakers-who-participated-in-anti-gun-insurrection/ Tue, 04 Apr 2023 17:17:18 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=59136 Last Updated on April 4, 2023

The Tennessee legislature has moved to expel three Democrat lawmakers who took part in last week’s insurrection on the floor of the state Capitol building. Far-left protesters shoved police officers and interrupted official proceedings, the same actions that have landed hundreds of January 6 protesters in federal prison. Despite video evidence of crimes committed, officials have said there are currently no criminal investigations open nor arrests planned.

GOP lawmakers filed three resolutions on Monday seeking the expulsion of Democrat state Reps. Gloria Johnson, Justin Pearson and Justin Jones. The resolutions were filed by Republican Reps. Bud Hulsey, Gino Bulso and Andrew Farmer.

The three Democrat lawmakers led a mob of insurrectionists onto the House floor in demand of increased gun control. “There comes a time when you have to do something out of the ordinary,” wrote Jones in a tweet. “We occupied the House floor today after repeatedly being silenced from talking about the crisis of mass shootings.”

On Monday, Tennessee House Speaker Cameron Sexton said the Democrat lawmakers’ actions were “unacceptable,” adding that they broke “several rules of decorum and procedure on the House floor.”

In response, Jones has characterized his potential expulsion as “fascism” and has continually called on left-wing agitators to flood the Capitol building.

“Tonight as Tennessee House Republicans push forward to schedule vote on our expulsion, Speaker Sexton orders the gallery cleared as crowd chants ‘fascists,’ wrote Jones in a tweet Monday night. “Media forced out as well. Then, Rep. Lafferty (R-Knox) pushes me and grabs my phone. This is a sad day for Tennessee.”

Despite decrying his potential expulsion as “fascism,” Jones previously called for one of his GOP colleagues to be expelled for attending then-President Trump’s “Save America Rally” on January 6, 2021. Tennessee Rep. Terri Lynn Weaver, like tens of thousands of Americans, attended the peaceful rally that day and did not enter the Capitol building or clash with law enforcement in any way.

Still, Jones called for her expulsion anyway. “Tomorrow is the 1st day of Tennessee’s legislative session. We must demand that State Rep @TerriLynnWeaver is not seated and expelled from the legislature for her involvement in last wk’s white supremacist insurrection,” Jones wrote in January, 2021. “The oath of office lawmakers take is counter to her actions.”

Nashville Shooter Audrey Hale Left Manifesto Detailing Motivation For Attack on Christian School https://nationalfile.com/transgender-nashville-shooter-audrey-hale-left-manifesto-detailing-motivation-for-attack-on-christian-school/ Mon, 27 Mar 2023 22:41:54 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58997 Last Updated on March 27, 2023

The shooter who killed three adults and three staff members at the Covenant Christian Academy in Nashville, Tennessee left a manifesto detailing her motivations for the attack, law enforcement officials have confirmed. Audrey Hale — a biological female who identifies as male and used “he/him” pronouns — reportedly had maps of the school complete with points of entry and possible security threats.

Officials stated that Audrey Hale, a former student, entered the school on Monday morning after shooting through a door on the side of the building. Once inside, Hale killed Evelyn Dieckhaus, Hallie Scruggs, and William Kinney, all age 9, as well as custodian Mike Hill and substitute teacher Cynthia Peak, both 61, and school head Katherine Koonce, 60, according to a report from the New York Post.

After the killings, Hale was confronted by police and ultimately shot and killed a little over four minutes into the shooting. Police said Hale was equipped with at least two assault rifles and a handgun.

Upon searching her residence, police discovered detailed maps of the school and a manifesto detailing her plans and motivations for the attack. “We have a manifesto, we have some writings that we’re going over that pertain to this day,” Nashville Police Chief John Drake told reporters. The police chief added that Hale was “prepared to do more harm than was actually done.”

Drake also confirmed that Hale is a biological female who identifies as male and uses “he/him” pronouns. He added that officials are probing whether Hale’s trans identity played a role in the attack on Christian schoolchildren.

The school was founded in 2001 as a ministry of Covenant Presbyterian Church. Its curriculum focuses on biblical theology, where students take classes about the bible along with standard education courses, the New York Post reported. Just under 200 students are currently enrolled at the school.

This is a developing story.

Transgender Shooter Who Targeted Christian School Identified As Audrey Hale https://nationalfile.com/nashville-christian-school-shooter-identified-as-audrey-hale/ Mon, 27 Mar 2023 21:35:46 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58995 Last Updated on March 27, 2023

The shooter who killed at least three children and three staff members at The Covenant Christian school in Nashville, Tennessee has been identified as Audrey Hale. Multiple media outlets, including NBC and Fox News, have cited law enforcement sources in reporting that Hale is a former student at the school.

Nashville police initially described the shooter as a teenage girl before changing the description to a 28-year-old woman and city resident.

The shooter was later identified as Audrey Hale, according to three law enforcement sources who spoke to NBC News. Swat teams were seen conducting a raid at an address reportedly belonging to Hale shortly before the shooter’s reported identity was released.

According to police, the shooter was armed with two “assault-style rifles and a handgun” when confronted by police. At that time, Hale reportedly fired on officers and was killed when they returned fire.

Investigators were combing through the shooter’s home, Metropolitan Nashville Police Chief John Drake told reporters. Drake did not say which years or years the shooter may have attended the school, NBC reported. “At one point she was a student at that school,” he told reporters. “But unsure what year … but that’s what I’ve been told so far.”

A LinkedIn page reportedly belonging to Hale lists her occupation as a graphic designer and commercial illustrator. According to Nashville law enforcement, Hale is a member of the transgender community. It is unclear whether Hale is a biological female or male.

“She does identify as transgender, yes,” Drake said during a press briefing.

Social media accounts associated with Hale have already been deleted, including an Instagram page titled “creative.aiden.”

Law enforcement officials have stated that the front door to the school was locked, adding that Hale appears to have gained entry through an unlocked side door.

This is a developing story.

‘Native American’ Hollywood Producer Accused of Faking Her Heritage https://nationalfile.com/native-american-hollywood-producer-accused-of-faking-her-heritage/ Mon, 27 Mar 2023 11:01:33 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58987 Last Updated on March 27, 2023

One of Hollywood’s top “Native American” producers has been accused of faking her heritage, according to a report from the New York Post.

Heather Rae, 56, serves on the Academy of Motion Pictures’ Indigenous Alliance, previously headed up the Sundance Institute’s Native American program. She also worked as “narrative change strategist” for the “unapologetically ambitious and innovative Native women-led” organization IllumiNative which sought to amplify “contemporary Native voices.”

The award-winning producer has long claimed that her mother is part Cherokee, with Rae previously having said “my mother was Indian and my father was a cowboy,” The Post reported.

Her most recent film “Fancy Dance” was partly funded by the Cherokee Nation and premiered at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

Now, an activist group called the Tribal Alliance Against Frauds (TAAF) is now demanding Rae drop her “false claims,” while referring to the producer as a “Pretendian”

According to research conducted by TAAF, Rae has no ancestors recognized by the Cherokee Nation of Oklahoma, the Eastern Band of Cherokee and the United Keetoowah Band of Cherokee Indians. In addition, a 1969 birth certificate listed both of her parents as White.

“Being an American Indian person is not just about who you claim to be, it is about who claims you,” Tribal Alliance Against Frauds director Lianna Costantino told the New York Post. “And it’s much more than just race. We are citizens of sovereign nations. Being an Indian is a legal, political distinction.”

The closest relation TAAF could identify as a possible Cherokee connection was Rae’s fourth great-grandparent, which would make her 1/2048th Cherokee.

Prior to the accusation, the film industry was rocked by another Native American heritage scandal late last year. Activist Sacheen Littlefeather, widely known for rejecting Marlon Brando’s Academy Award for “The Godfather” in his stead, was revealed to have no Native American heritage.

The shocking revelation came shortly after her death, when her sisters, Trudy Orlandi and Rosalind Cruz revealed that the activist, born Marie Louise Cruz, had faked her heritage. “It’s a lie. … My father was who he was. His family came from Mexico, and my dad was born in Oxnard,” Orlandi said.

Ironically, Heather Rae helped Academy members to construct an apology to the activist for “blacklisting” her after her demonstration at the awards ceremony prior to her death and the subsequent revelation.

“Our support, celebration and recognition of Native American and Indigenous communities and storytellers do not end today. … We are building a future of film that is collaborative, conversational and solutions-oriented. Representation without inclusion or access is not enough. I am so honored to be here with you today and look forward to our future, one which you have greatly inspired. I would like to also reiterate our apology and our gratitude toward you,” the letter read.

Utah State Player Who Collapsed During Practice Suffered Cardiac Arrest https://nationalfile.com/utah-state-player-who-collapsed-during-practice-suffered-cardiac-arrest/ Mon, 27 Mar 2023 09:00:08 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58983 A Utah State football player who collapsed during a spring practice session on Thursday suffered a “non-traumatic sudden cardiac arrest,” the university announced in a statement Friday. Josh Davis, a redshirt freshman wide receiver from Karslbad, California, collapsed on the field and was immediately transported Logan Regional Hospital. His condition was initially listed as “critical” but was later said to be in “fair” condition the following morning. “Davis received initial critical treatment and was stabilized at Logan Regional Hospital before being transported to McKay-Dee Hospital, where their critical care team continued treatment with therapeutic hypothermia to lower the body temperature to preserve his neurological function,” Utah State said in a press release. The university later posted a photo of Davis giving a “thumbs up” in his hospital room while surrounded by friends and family. Head coach Blake Anderson and a handful of teammates visited Davis in the hospital shortly after his condition improved. “What’s up Aggie nation this is Josh Davis coming in, feeling a-lot better. Just wanna thank you guys for all the support and all the prayers, and I can’t wait to be back soon,” said Davis in a video statement. “The smiles say it all… it was a brutal night, but Josh never stopped fighting. Through God’s grace, and an amazing group of Trainers & Medical Professionals we are doing better ever minute today. So grateful for all the prayers & support lifted up over the past 24 hrs,” wrote Anderson in a tweet.

UFC Legend Holly Holm Calls Out ‘Sexualization of Children’ In Post-Fight Interview https://nationalfile.com/ufc-legend-holly-holm-calls-out-sexualization-of-children-in-post-fight-interview/ Sun, 26 Mar 2023 21:41:18 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58981 Last Updated on March 26, 2023

UFC legend Holly Holm spoke out against the “sexualization of children” after picking up a win in San Antonio on Saturday night.

Holm’s win over Yana Santos marked the first in a little over two years for the former Women’s Bantamweight champion. After a close first round, the 41-year-old managed to take Santos down in the second. From there it was more or less domination for the future hall of famer, who departed from her usual boxing style in favor of a ground attack that Santos had no answer for.

After her win, Holm took the opportunity to condemn the “sexualization of children” in society. “Something’s been on my heart and I feel like I have the platform to say it, I need to say it,” Holm said. “I just feel it’s really sad all the sexualization of our children right now and we need to protect them whatever that may be. Let’s protect the children, please!”

The former champion later clarified her statement at the post-fight press conference. “You know there’s a lot of things, I don’t ever want to be… I’m not even a real political person,” she said. “I don’t like to put that stuff around any of my social media… but there’s also just right and wrong. I feel like everybody should be on the same side on that. I don’t feel like that has anything to do with left side, right side or anything like that. I feel like everybody should be wanting to protect their children.”

“There’s a lot of child trafficking. I mean that’s like the extreme part. There’s a lot of levels to it. You see it almost being more accepted and I think that’s really sad. I feel like we should all do what we can. A lot of people don’t know what to do. But at least if I can have a voice on it then that’s something I can speak out on. And it’s just to get everybody together to protect children,” Holm continued.

Holm’s statement was met with praise by UFC lightweight star Michael Chandler, who took issue with an Amazon commercial displayed on the broadcast just before the post-fight interview.

“Right after [amazon] hits us with some gender-bending, confusing, mustache-wielding commercial,
[Holly Holm] calls out the sexualization of today’s youth. Thank you Holly,” tweeted Chandler on Saturday night. The ad in question can be viewed below.

“I’m all about everyone minding their own business but yes that commercial is real weird. Like what are they even doing? Weirdos,” wrote one Twitter user in response to Chandler’s tweet. “Don’t misinterpret ‘minding your own business’ for perpetuating evil until evil gets to the point that you wish you would have paid it more mind,” the UFC Lightweight replied.

Report: Biden Regime to Arrest 700-1,200 ADDITIONAL January 6 Capitol Protesters https://nationalfile.com/report-biden-regime-to-arrest-700-1200-additional-january-6-capitol-protesters/ Sun, 19 Mar 2023 20:40:50 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58885 Last Updated on March 19, 2023

Federal prosecutors in Washington D.C. have told court officials to expect an additional 700-1,200 arrests and charges in connection with the January 6 Capitol protests. Over 1,000 protesters have already been arrested and charged, with the most common guilty plea being picketing in a federal building, essentially trespassing. While such an offense generate a fine if any action at all, federal prosecutors and judges have thrown the book at January 6 protesters and have signaled that they will continue to do so.

Matthew Graves, the U.S. attorney in Washington D.C., sent a one-page letter to the chief judge of Washington DC federal court warning that an increase in cases is to be expected over the coming months, Bloomberg News reported.

Graves said in the letter that justice department officials estimated that another 700 to 1,200 defendants could face charges. That would nearly double the number of criminal cases relating to January 6, Bloomberg reported.

In the letter, Graves noted that getting an exact number is “incredibly difficult” due to the “nature and the complexity of the investigation.” He did note, however, that he expects the bulk of the additional arrests to be felonies. “We expect the pace of bringing new cases will increase, in an orderly fashion, over the course of the next few months,” Graves wrote.

The heavy-handed crackdown on January 6 protesters pales in comparison to local and federal law enforcement responses to the months-long George Floyd riots in 2020. The DOJ opted not to conduct years-long manhunts for far-left rioters who attacked the White House and burned historic buildings in 2020, nor have they hunted down arsonists who burned federal buildings across the nation.

In total, around 90% of charges against BLM rioters were dropped without incident, with that figure reaching as high as 95% in cities such as Philadelphia and Dallas. The months-long riot ultimately left 25 Americans dead and caused billions in property damage.

Zero law enforcement personnel were killed by the January 6 crowd.

Harris Gets Roasted Over ‘Little League’ Speech to Howard Basketball Team https://nationalfile.com/harris-gets-roasted-over-little-league-speech-to-howard-basketball-team/ Fri, 17 Mar 2023 19:56:29 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58861 Last Updated on March 17, 2023

Vice President Kamala Harris is being roasted over her post-game address to the Howard Men’s Basketball team after the squad was bounced from the NCAA tournament in the first round.

“You guys are so good. You played so hard. You played til the very last second,” Harris, a Howard alumnus, told the team. “You made all us Bison so, so proud…You showed the world who Bison are.”

Vice President Harris then praised the team for the achievement of making the tournament and winning their conference.

“You know, I was at Howard back in the day where we were just happy that there was a game, much less getting to this place. Right?” she continued. “And I see Bison literally all over the world and we’ve been talking about you. This team, you make us so proud.”

“Now I know you may not be feeling great right now. Okay? But know who you are. You are excellence.”

The vice president’s comments were promptly roasted on social media, with numerous Twitter users comparing her remarks to those of a little league coach. “Kamala Harris is the worst public speaker on the planet. She addressed the Howard basketball team yesterday after their loss to Kansas. And it sounds like me talking to my five-year-old team when the little league season ends,” said Outkick founder Clay Travis.

“You lose in March Madness and this kindergarten teacher who put people in jail for smoking weed comes into the locker-room and talks to you like you’re 12? Come on bro,” wrote Barstool Sports reporter Jack Maguire. “Why does it always sound like she’s talking to second-graders? So condescending,” said independent reporter Caleb Parke.

While attending Thursday’s game at the Wells Fargo arena in Des Moines, Iowa, Harris was shown on the stadium scoreboard on multiple occasions. According to a report from the New York Post, she received more boos than cheers.

McConnell, GOP Senators Attack Tucker Carlson Over January 6 Footage Release https://nationalfile.com/mcconnell-gop-senators-attack-tucker-carlson-over-january-6-footage-release/ Wed, 08 Mar 2023 18:36:09 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58710 Last Updated on March 8, 2023

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) joined a handful of his Republican Senate colleagues in condemning Fox News host Tucker Carlson over the release of January 6 footage that contradicts many leftist and federal government narratives on the day’s events. Civil liberties activists have long called for the release of the more than 41,000 hours of footage, which the January 6 subcommittee refused to release, instead opting to air select clips.

While speaking at a GOP Senate news conference, McConnell chastised Carlson and said he stands with the U.S. Capitol Police and their assessment of the protest and small riot. “I want to associate myself entirely with the opinion of the chief and the Capitol Police about what happened on Jan. 6,” McConnell said while holding up a letter sent to the U.S. Capitol Police force by Capitol Police Chief Thomas Manger. “It was a mistake, in my view, for Fox News to depict this in a way that’s completely at variance with what our chief law enforcement official here at the Capitol thinks,” the Senate minority leader continued.

Manger’s letter contained numerous debunked claims, including the massive lie that Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick was murdered by the crowd. The long-debunked claim was even further discredited during Carlson’s footage drop on Monday night, in which the officer could be seen freely walking around after his supposed “death” at the hands of the crowd.

A handful of other Senate Republicans rushed to condemn Carlson and speak out in support of framing the day’s events as an “insurrection” while supporting the federal government crackdown on protesters.

“I think its bull****,” said Senator Thom Tillis (R-NC) in response to Carlson’s framing. “I was here. I was down there, and I saw maybe a few tourists, a few people who got caught up in things,” he added. “But when you see police barricades breached, when you see police officers assaulted, all of that … if you were just a tourist you should’ve probably lined up at the visitors’ center and came in on an orderly basis.”

The North Carolina Senator went on to say that Carlson’s framing was “inexcusable.”

Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) also joined in on the condemnation of Carlson. “I think that breaking through glass windows and doors to get into the United States Capitol against the borders of police is a crime. I think particularly when you come into the chambers, when you start opening the members’ desks, when you stand up in their balcony — to somehow put that in the same category as, you know, permitted peaceful protest is just a lie,” Cramer said.

“I think it doesn’t do any good for the narrative,” he added.

Senators Romney (R-UT), Graham (R-SC) and Thune (R-SD) have also condemned Carlson and rehashed Biden regime talking points.
