Loomer exposed that Evan McMullin is a proud board member of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics (CREW). McMullin ran in 2016 as a third-party candidate and used his candidacy to help Hillary Clinton. Crew is the organization leading the charge to get Trump removed from the 2024 Colorado ballot. NationalFile reported Soros is funding both the Colorado and Minnesota efforts to have Trump removed from the ballot.

Loomer shared a post that McMullin wrote in 2019 that read, “I’ve long appreciated the excellent work of Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington in fighting political corruption. Now, I’m honored to join CREW’s board to more directly support this cause, which is so vital to the health of our nation.”

Loomer captioned McMullin’s post, writing, “It’s pretty evident that CREW is violating its 501c3 status and is acting as a political operation to take down President Trump under the guise of charity.”

McMullin is a proud never Trumper who used his 2016 presidential run to help Hillary Clinton. McMullin was a CIA officer prior to becoming a Never Trump politician. Given his resume, it’s no surprise McMullin is involved with CREW, a Soros-funded organization attempting to cancel Trump from the Colorado ballot.

NationalFile reported records from Influence Watch show that George Soros’ Open Society Foundations fund CREW. Loomer also shared a video of CREW founder Melanie Sloan admitting CREW is funded by Soros.

Given the resources behind the effort to remove Trump from the ballot, it is likely that the Supreme Court of the United States will hear either the Colorado or Minnesota case soon and could issue an emergency ruling within days of hearing the case. Normal SCOTUS case decisions aren’t announced until late May of the calendar year.

Court Audio: Virginia Delegate Candidate Tim Griffin Doesn’t Have an Address, ‘Essentially Homeless’ https://nationalfile.com/court-audio-virginia-delegate-candidate-tim-griffin-doesnt-have-an-address-essentially-homeless/ Fri, 17 Mar 2023 21:36:58 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58859 Last Updated on March 17, 2023

GOP candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates, Tim Griffin was described by a Lynchburg Circuit Court judge as “essentially homeless” when his attorney struggled to explain where Griffin actually lives, causing the judge to question whether or not he even lives in Virginia and warn that Griffin could be committing voter fraud, among other crimes.

Tim Griffin, whose running for the GOP nomination to the Virginia House of Delegates in the 53rd District, which includes portions of Bedford, Amherst, and Nelson Counties, was called out by a Lynchburg Circuit Court Judge for being “essentially homeless” when his attorney appeared in the court on his behalf in 2021, as part of a custody matter.

Even Griffin’s own attorney was unsure where he lives when pressed by the judge, describing him as a nomad who couch surfs or goes camping when he needs a place to sleep. His attorney explained that Griffin had been working in Michigan, DC, and Northern Virginia, and was returning to the area to attend political functions.

“I think that he stays at colleagues’ houses, or he stays at friends’ houses, or rents a hotel, or I think sometimes he goes camping,” Griffin’s attorney told the judge in a courtroom exchange that’s been preserved by audio recordings.

“Well, that’s…that’s essentially being homeless,” the judge replied.

“He does not have any physical [address] – where does he keep his clothes?” asked the judge. “Does he take his whole wardrobe and everything with him?” he went on, before threatening to haul Griffin into court and “put him under oath” to get to the bottom of his apparent homelessness situation.

Despite Griffin currently serving as the Chairman of the Bedford County Republicans and running for state office, the Bedford County address under which he’s voted absentee in 3 general elections and 1 primary since 2020, including that year’s Presidential Election and the 2022 midterms, belongs to an AirBnB where he hasn’t stayed since July 2020, according to the testimony of the homeowner himself. This is despite Griffin marketing himself in his Delegate campaign as an anti-fraud, election integrity lawyer.

Additionally, Griffin is listed at the AirBnB address in his Virginia Bar registration.

This is all in spite of Griffin himself confirming, in notarized court documents (which were notarized in Northern Virginia’s Arlington County), that he doesn’t live at the address in question and hasn’t since July 31st, 2020. In the same document, Griffin contradicts the court testimony of the home’s owner, who said he only stayed at the address for around 8 months, claiming that he lived there for nearly three years.

Tim Griffin Address Court
Tim Griffin swore in court documents that he hadn’t lived at the claimed address since July 2020.

As part of the same recorded court proceeding regarding Griffin’s address issues and essential homelessness, the judge expressed his concern that the situation could put Griffin in legal jeopardy and told his attorney that he’d “advise him of his 5th Amendment privilege” before putting him under oath.

“I think that there are some other legal issues at play here with the state bar, and voting matters, and – and I probably need to advise him of his 5th Amendment privilege if I’m going to put him under oath to answer those questions,” the judge said.

In a subsequent court hearing, which was held in January 2023, Tim Griffin admitted to the judge that he no longer lives at the address listed on his voter and bar registrations, the address from which he’s voted in numerous elections.

After asking the judge if he could retrieve his cell phone to look up his current address, Griffin told the court that he is now “living in a garage like a 40-year-old man should.”

Vermont Supreme Court Upholds Noncitizen Voting https://nationalfile.com/vermont-supreme-court-upholds-noncitizen-voting/ Thu, 26 Jan 2023 17:12:11 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=58054 Last Updated on January 26, 2023

The Supreme Court of Vermont ruled Friday that noncitizens in the state’s capital city of Montpellier will be allowed to vote in local elections. The court ruled that noncitizens voting in municipal elections does not violate the state’s constitution, stating that citizenship requirements only apply to federal elections.

“The statute allowing noncitizens to vote in local Montpelier elections does not violate Chapter II, § 42 because that constitutional provision does not apply to local elections,” the New Hampshire Supreme Court wrote in its ruling.

In 2018, the city of Montpellier voted to allow noncitizens to vote in citywide elections provided they were in the United States legally. The city of Winooski soon followed in 2020.

In 2021, the New Hampshire legislature approved the changes to both cities’ municipal charters. The Democrat-controlled chamber was able to do this despite a veto from Republican Governor Phil Scott.

In response, the Republican National Committee filed two lawsuits asking for the measures to be declared unconstitutional in both cities.

A number of Democrat-controlled municipalities have passed laws allowing noncitizens to vote in municipal elections. The list includes San Francisco, a number of towns in Maryland, while additional blue strongholds such as Washington D.C. and Boston are pushing for similar laws.

The city of New York initially voted to allow noncitizen voting, though New York Mayor Bill DeBlasio was hesitant to sign the legislation. New York’s Supreme Court ultimately struck down the NYC law last June, though advocates of the measure have stated that they will keep pushing.

At the federal level, House Democrats have pushed for an amendment that would remove citizenship requirements for voting in U.S. elections.

A handful of states, including Ohio and Louisiana, have banned noncitizen voting.

Davos: WEF Congratulates Brian Kemp on Failing to Secure Georgia’s Elections https://nationalfile.com/davos-wef-congratulates-brian-kemp-on-failing-to-secure-georgias-elections/ Tue, 17 Jan 2023 21:45:30 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=57879 Last Updated on January 17, 2023

Georgia’s GOP Governor, Brian Kemp, joined the World Economic Forum on stage at Davos, where he was given a figurative pat on the head by one of Klaus Schwab’s top men for his refusal to “give in” to the election integrity movement.

Seated between the Democrat Governor of Illinois, JB Pritzker, and Delaware Senator Chris Coons, a close ally of Joe Biden, Georgia Governor Brian Kemp was one of just two Republicans taking part in the World Economic Forum’s panel on American governance at Davos, along with Florida Rep. Maria Salazar.

When called upon by Børge Brende, the panel’s lead who’s often seen as Klaus Schwab’s second in command and possible successor atop the WEF, Kemp was complimented on his refusal to “give in” to the election integrity movement, after multiple contested races in his home state of Georgia resulted in the “election” of left-wing Democrats, most notably Joe Biden in 2020.

After slamming Republican candidates as “election deniers,” Brende lauded Kemp’s inaction on the documented election fraud and irregularities that marred his home state.

“We know you well,” Brende told Kemp, before remarking that, during America’s recent elections, “a lot of candidates who were ‘election deniers’ were not elected.”

“You came under some pressure [to secure Georgia’s elections] but you didn’t really give in on that did you?” Brende asked.

Kemp responded with a nod, before shifting the conversation to the economy, and claiming that he believes that Democrats will join with Republicans in securing America’s southern border.

He went on to sit silently as Illinois Democrat JB Pritzker blasted the GOP and claimed that Joe Biden has “gotten things done for the United States,” though he did butt in to defend Georgia’s film and entertainment industries.

A notorious gathering point for the globalist architects of the “great reset,” the Davos summit is under more scrutiny than ever in 2023, as citizens all over the globe have begun questioning why the unelected, openly fascistic organization has so much influence over their governments.

On-the-ground reports say that there are thousands of military, police, and private security men in Davos for the summit, vastly outnumbering security details of years past.

While early indications said that Klaus Schwab, the founder and head of the World Economic Forum, would be sitting the summit out due to an illness, he eventually took the stage during the summit’s Monday opening, 8 hours late, telling the crowd that he will “master the future.”

Attendance at the summit is reportedly down this year, presumably as a result of mass public disapproval of the WEF.

Notably absent is globalist billionaire George Soros, who’s publicly claimed that he had a “scheduling conflict.”

Georgia Supreme Court Rules Plaintiffs Have Legal Standing In Counterfeit Ballot Case https://nationalfile.com/georgia-supreme-court-rules-plaintiffs-have-legal-standing-in-counterfeit-ballot-case/ Fri, 23 Dec 2022 17:46:59 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=57203 Last Updated on December 23, 2022

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court of the State of Georgia overturned a ruling made by a lower court in the cases Caroline Jeffords et al. v. Fulton County et al. (S22C1299) and Garland Favorito et al. v. Alex Wan et al (S22C1285). The latest ruling in the legal action, also referred to as the “Fulton County Counterfeit Ballot” case, gives the plaintiffs legal standing to sue government agencies which violate Georgia law.

“The petition for certiorari is granted, the judgement is vacated, and the case is remanded to the Court of Appeals for reconsideration in light of Sons of Confederate Veterans v. Henry County Board of Commissioners,” The Supreme Court stated on Tuesday.

Attorney and founder of VoterGA, Garland Favorito, spoke with The National File on Thursday.

“This was the case where we had four sworn affidavits from senior poll managers who claimed that they handled counterfeit ballots in the Fulton County audit,” Favorito said on Thursday.

“We got an order to inspect the ballots and suddenly Fulton County went out and hired criminal defense attorneys to keep us from seeing the ballots,” Favorito said. “That tells you a lot, doesn’t it?”

“I think this decision will have national implications,” Favorito stated.

The Honorable Supreme Court met pursuant to adjournment.

The following order was passed:

ImageThe case will now head to the Georgia Court of Appeals where they will defer to the ruling made by the Georgia Supreme Court on Tuesday.

“All the Justices concur, except Pinson, J., disqualified,” the Court said.

Justice Andrew Pinson is the youngest justice on the Supreme Court of Georgia, and was disqualified because he was on the Court of Appeals when it made its initial decision on the case.

“It absolutely is real, Steve. It’s not just that they stole the election. They stole our [legal] standing. I’ve been saying ever since this case was dismissed that we actually did have standing and even our good friends like John Fredericks and others didn’t really believe that it was correct,” Favorito said on Thursday.

“We’ve got to give a tip of the hat to our attorney, Todd Hardy, and he made this argument. The argument is we do have standing. There are different arguments that could have been made. There are arguments [wherein] we don’t even need to have standing, but that argument carried the day. This is a real decision. We knew that it was coming. Todd has been telling us to watch this Sons of Confederate Veterans case for over a year. And just about a month ago, the Georgia Supreme Court ruled, in fact, that individuals do have standing,” Favorito said.

“This was a case of Confederate memorials that Henry County and Newton County were trying to take down illegally, because all monuments and memorials are protected in the State of Georgia, whether you like them or not. And once the court ruled on that case they said that citizens, residents, and taxpayers have always had standing in Georgia, which is exactly what I’ve been saying for over a year. It was an egregious decision originally that violated all the United States Supreme Court precedents and the precedents in the State of Georgia since the state first existed in 1788,” he added.

“Practically, the first step is it’s going to have to go back to the Georgia Court of Appeals. The Georgia Court of Appeals will then tell the court they have to abide by the Supreme Court decision and then it will go back to Judge Amero and Judge Amero will be forced to open up discovery on the case. This is the only way he could have gotten rid of discovery in the case. But now he will be forced to open discovery and once we open discovery, the first thing we’re going to do is go after the ballots,” Favorito said.

“We will get to see those ballots. I think we’ll get to do what we actually wanted to do all along.”

Arizona: Kari Lake’s Lawsuit Proceeds, Democrats, Including Katie Hobbs, to Testify on Rigged Election https://nationalfile.com/arizona-kari-lakes-lawsuit-proceeds-democrats-including-katie-hobbs-to-testify-on-rigged-election/ Tue, 20 Dec 2022 12:44:52 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=57093 Last Updated on December 20, 2022

An Arizona judge has ruled that Kari Lake’s election fraud lawsuit has merit and will go to trial, as the Trump-aligned gubernatorial nominee stares down corrupt Democrat Katie Hobbs after yet another Arizona election marred by unprecedented levels of fraud and election irregularities.

Maricopa County, Arizona Superior Court Judge Peter Thompson dismissed Democrat “Governor-elect” Katie Hobbs’ motions to toss Kari Lake’s lawsuit, paving the way for the case to go to trial in dramatic fashion, and presenting what looks like the greatest opportunity that the election integrity movement has ever had to actually overturn a rigged election.

“BREAKING,” Kari Lake tweeted Monday night, “our Election Case is going to trial. Katie Hobbs’ attempt to have our case thrown out FAILED,” she explained.

“She will have to take the stand & testify. Buckle up, America. This is far from over.”

Kari Lake Court Case
“This is far from over,” vowed Kari Lake as she prepares to go into court and fight election fraud – via Twitter, @KariLake

Under Judge Thompson’s ruling, the court will hear evidence from Kari Lake and her team on Wednesday and Thursday of this week, and the case before the court will focus on the more than 300,000 Arizona ballots without chains of custody, as well as the ballot tabulator issues that were once again experienced in the state.

Reportedly, at least one election worker will testify that hundreds of thousands of phantom ballots were dropped into Arizona’s election results, tilting the scales in favor of Katie Hobbs.

What’s more, is that Katie Hobbs, Arizona’s current Secretary of State and top elections official, will also have to testify in court, under oath, as part of the election fraud trial. All over the country, voters have been perplexed to learn that, despite being on the ballot, Hobbs was allowed to rule over the 2022 elections in Arizona – even after her massive dereliction of duty and suspected fraud in 2020.

In the middle of Arizona’s 2022 election fraud saga is Runbeck Election Services, a Democrat-owned firm that’s also done work in contested Georgia races, and has family ties to Ben Toma, the newly-elected GOP Speaker of Arizona’s State House of Representatives.

Despite Kari Lake’s very viable election fraud lawsuit, Toma has been publicly cozying up to Democrat Katie Hobbs, the beneficiary of Runbeck shadiness.

Judge Holds Emergency Hearing on Kari Lake Election Lawsuit, Sets Schedule https://nationalfile.com/judge-holds-emergency-hearing-on-kari-lake-election-lawsuit-sets-schedule/ Wed, 14 Dec 2022 15:03:32 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=56949 Last Updated on December 14, 2022

Arizona Judge Peter Thompson, who is overseeing Arizona GOP gubernatorial candidate Kari Lake’s election lawsuit ordered Lake, Secretary of State and Arizona Governor-elect Katie Hobbs, Maricopa County Board of Supervisors officials, and a number of others to appear at an emergency court hearing on Tuesday. The hearing laid out a schedule for how both parties can proceed while the 70-page election lawsuit plays out and set oral arguments for Monday.

The hearing was scheduled for 11 am Pacific Standard Time, though technical difficulties delayed the virtual hearing until nearly noon. Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers then tweeted out the meeting details, allowing anyone to enter.

“I was just told this is the most popular meeting in America right now,” Lake tweeted shortly before the scheduled start time. “I can’t even get INTO the court hearing meeting, nor can my attorneys.”

Lake appeared in virtual court alongside her representatives, although Hobbs and the other Maricopa County officials did not appear and sent representatives in their stead. In addition to Lake and Hobbs, Maricopa Count Stephen Richer, Board of Supervisor members Bill Gates, Clint Hickman, Jack Sellers, Thomas Galvin, and Steve Gallardo, and Director of Elections Scott Jarrett were also called to appear, according to the Arizona Sun Times.

Both parties will have until Thursday, December 15 to file any motions to dismiss. Andy Gaona, who is representing Hobbs, declared the intentions on behalf of the Arizona Secretary of State’s Office to dismiss this case by Thursday.

For now, oral arguments are set for Monday, while evidence hearings have also been scheduled for December 21 and 22.

Kari Lake was optimistic after the hearing concluded. “Today’s hearing regarding my lawsuit was telling. The Judge noted the volume of evidence my team compiled. The defendants’ team seemed desperate to sweep it under the rug,” Lake wrote in a statement. “I am thankful to Judge Peter Thompson and his team for the work they do and we are confident that given the opportunity, we will expose this election for the sham it was.”

Lake’s 70-page election lawsuit contests the results of the 2022 General Election, alleging that printer issues in Maricopa County disenfranchised upwards of thousands of voters. The complaint also alleges that hundreds of thousands of mail-in-ballots were deposited into drop boxes or returned through the United States Postal Service (USPS) and delivered to a third-party vendor, Runbeck Election Services, on election day.

“This lawsuit puts an end to any doubt that our elections, especially in Maricopa County, are rigged and massive reforms are needed if the public is ever to trust the results again.” Lake said in a statement upon filing the lawsuit. “Our sacred vote was trampled on. Every Arizonan should be furious, regardless of Party. Despite the desperate lies by the Fake News, my team has filed one of the strongest Election Lawsuits in history.”

Attorney Claims CISA Collaborated With Maricopa County To Censor Election Information https://nationalfile.com/attorney-claims-cisa-collaborated-with-maricopa-county-to-censor-election-information/ Fri, 09 Dec 2022 21:30:09 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=56795

One of Donald Trump’s 2024 campaign attorneys, Christina Bobb, highlighted alleged collaboration which occurred between the Maricopa County Recorder, Stephen Richer, and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), a department under the control of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), ahead of the 2022 midterm elections. Bobb was interviewed on The Absolute Truth with Emerald Robinson on Friday.

“That they marked it for official use only shows that they wanted to keep this secret,” Bobb explained.

“CISA is, as you mentioned, under the Department of Homeland Security. If we remember back in 2020, it was Chris Krebs, the Director of CISA, who I actually worked fairly closely with at DHS, he was the one who came out and said ‘This was the most secure election in US history,’ and tried to provide some level of comfort to the American public, saying ‘Oh don’t look closely don’t look closely,’ and yet its the same organization that is partnering with state officials and big tech to change the narrative, to lie to the public,” Bobb said.

The attorney then elaborated and claimed that some of the information contained in the official CISA documents is false.

“A lot of the information that’s just listed in those documents isn’t even accurate. It’s the narrative that they want told, so this is very much about pushing one side and they’re using government officials to do it, which violates the 1st Amendment and it’s potentially criminal conduct if they are actually interfering with the outcome of an election,” Bobb stated.

Bobb highlighted the connection to Stephen Richer in light of a lawsuit filed by Republican Nominee for Governor of Arizona, Kari Lake (R), which challenged November’s highly contentious election results in the Grand Canyon State.

“This popped up as particular interest to Arizona because Stephen Richer, who largely ran the Arizona Election and certainly as you know it’s very contested. Kari Lake is filing her challenge today. So it’s very pertinent to what’s happening in Arizona and the outcome of the Arizona election,” Bobb said.

Elected in 2020, Stephen Richer is the Maricopa County Recorder, based in Phoenix, Arizona.

On March 29th, 2022, a meeting was held between Maricopa’s Stephen Richer and the Protecting Critical Infrastructure from Misinformation & Disinformation (MDM) Subcommittee, which is a part of the CISA Cybersecurity Advisory Committee (CSAC).

Image

“Mr. Richer thanks the subcommittee for their partnership to ensure safe, secure, and reliable elections across the country by fighting current and emerging in misinformation and disinformation threats, and provided an overview of his background. Mr. Richer was elected in November 2020 and is responsible for the recording of election documents, a voter registration database of 2. million registered voters – the second largest county voter database in the nation – and the administration of elections.”

Image

“Subcommittee members discussed challenges of releasing correct information in a landscape of misinformation and disinformation in a timely matter.

  • Ms. Vijaya Gadde, Legal, Public Policy, and Trust and Safety Lead, Twitter, encouraged the elections boards to release credible information which would enable social media companies to redirect misinformation and disinformation claims to accurate information. In the absence of reported factual information, Ms. Gadde explained that social media companies are only able to remove false information without redirecting the public to credible sources.

  • Ms. Gadde shared the effectiveness of pre-bunking on Twitter. She reported a decline in the spread of false information when correct information was shared early and often ahead of an event.

  • Mr. Richer identified the challenge of choosing to act quickly with 95% confidence, or waiting a few days to act with 99 confidence before responding to ensure there is no truth in the perceived falsity and to back up the correct reporting with three additional sources. Ms. Gadde shared that the vast majority of a tweet’s impressions occur within the first 24 hours of posting and cautioned that waiting to correct the information leaves consumers to digest false infromation.”

Image

CISA was briefed by Richer “on current election processes and needs among elections officials and to discuss CISA’s role in the MDM space.”

“Maricopa County’s election is already highly suspect. Now, we have documented proof that the man partially responsible for the records was actively working with a federal agency, CISA, part of DHS, to manipulate the outcome of the election he ran….without disclosing it,” Bobb said on Wednesday.

“This is ongoing. there’s other lawsuits involved in this, we know the Louisiana attorney general Jeff Landry is involved in a case with Missouri against CISA on this exact issue, looking into it as well so we have multiple states looking at this across the board and its particularly concerning because CISA is a federal government [agency] that’s impacting every state in the country so this has very very big ramifications,” she told Robinson.

Bobb also agreed with Robinson’s assertion that Chris Kreb and Chad Wolf are good friends. “I can’t say firsthand, but that’s my belief,” Bobb said of their relationship.

The atorney then raised the topic of the lawsuit filed by Kari Lake on Friday.

“I absolutely have a lot of confidence in this lawsuit. Kari Lake has the law on her side, she has the facts on her side. I think when people see and have time to digest what’s in her lawsuit, people are going to be outraged. My hope for this case is that it’s so explosive that the courts can’t sweep it under the rug,” Bobb stated. “In 2020, we were up against the clock, we didn’t have a lot of time. It was the first time that the teams were really investigating this type of cheating and we kind of ran out of time. We had affidavits, we had evidence but it was very fresh and very new.”

“Well, they have had two years to look into this and there’s information out there. there’s lots of evidence available and we’re going to see it in that lawsuit,” Bobb said.

“I think it will be really hard for the trial courts to sweep it under the rug. I do expect them to try to sweep it under the rug. This is a big issue. Courts are typically skittish. Unfortunately, in Maricopa county a lot of the courts lean left. I hope that they’ll do the right thing anyway,” Bobb said.

“Ultimately, regardless of how it comes out at the trial court level, I do think that this is a case that will probably end up at the Arizona Supreme Court and we’ll see what they do with it. I don’t know how you can possibly look at a state and say it’s appropriate for the federal government to be manipulating the information.”

“Katie Hobbs, the secretary of state who was the Democrat, was also collaborating with Twitter and getting political speech removed. So you have this mechanism where people get to control the levels regardless of party. It doesn’t matter. I don’t know how the AZ supreme Court with any sense of integrity can say yeah that’s okay,” Bobb said. “It’s not okay. It’s not what people want. It’s not what people expect from their leaders and quite frankly, it’s just not fair.”

Katie Hobbs’ Office Threatened to Arrest Mohave County Election Officials Who Questioned 2022 Election https://nationalfile.com/katie-hobbs-office-threatened-to-arrest-mohave-county-election-officials-who-questioned-2022-election/ Sun, 04 Dec 2022 17:37:14 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=56663 Last Updated on December 4, 2022

Arizona’s Democrat Secretary of State and Governor-elect Katie Hobbs’ office threatened to arrest the Mohave County Board of Supervisors if they opted not to certify the 2022 election by Monday’s deadline, according to documents obtained by The Daily Caller. The board initially opted to withhold certification in protest of the numerous election irregularities that plagued Maricopa County.

Arizona State Elections Director Kori Lorick wrote several letters and emails to members of the board, threatening that they would be prosecuted if they refused to certify the results by the deadline. The correspondence also included threats of lawsuits for “nonfeasance.”

“The Secretary of State did contact our County and cited A.R.S. Section 16-1010 as a statute that could be used to prosecute [the board] if they did not certify the election,” Matt Smith, the Mohave County attorney, told The Daily Caller.  The statute is an Arizona felony regarding election officials who “fail to perform their duties” and could carry up to two years in prison for those convicted.

“The threat of legal action, including personally, came from the Arizona State Elections Director [Kori Lorick],” the board’s chair-elect Supervisor Travis Linginfelter said.

“Our office will take all legal action necessary to ensure that Arizona’s voters have their votes counted, including referring the individual supervisors who vote not to certify for criminal enforcement under A.R.S. 16-1010,” Lorick wrote in an email to the board. Governor-elect Hobbs oversaw her own election under her position of secretary of state, prompting controversy.

Republican members of the Mohave County board intended, like a number of additional Arizona counties, to hold hearings on numerous election irregularities that plagued the state’s largest county on election day. A “printer error,” according to the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors, led to close to a quarter of election day voting machines to go offline. The issue ultimately affected more than 17,000 ballots, which the board claims were counted.

Several poll workers and other election officials testified about the widespread errors during a hearing in Maricopa County. One poll worker testified that due to error-induced long wait times, scores of voters were forced to leave and were thus unable to cast their votes.

The Maricopa County poll worker stated that over 500 voters were “disenfranchised” at his polling place alone.

In addition, he discussed widespread confusion regarding proper check-in/check-out procedures at the polls. Due to the wait times, many voters were directed to other polling places were machines were operational. But since they were not checked out properly, due to what the poll worker blamed on poor training from the county, scores of votes were not counted.

In Mohave County, Lorick also sent a letter to the board saying they would be “disenfranchising” their voters if they opted not to certify. The letter, which was obtained by the Daily Caller, states that the board “has a non-discretionary duty to canvass the returns of the election,” and that a failure to do so “will only serve to disenfranchise that county’s voters.”

Mohave County was one of several Arizona counties that asked for more time to review the election results, though they are the only one that appears to have been threatened by Hobbs’ office.

Over 500 Voters Were ‘Disenfranchised’ at One Maricopa Polling Place Alone, Election Worker Testifies https://nationalfile.com/over-500-voters-were-disenfranchised-at-one-maricopa-polling-place-alone-election-worker-testifies/ Tue, 29 Nov 2022 02:22:02 +0000 https://nationalfile.com/?p=56558 Last Updated on November 28, 2022

An election worker who worked the polls at a 14-day voting center in Maricopa County — Arizona’s largest county — testified that over 500 voters were “disenfranchised” at his polling place alone. Election day in Maricopa County was plagued by printer errors that led to long lines and a large number of provisional ballots. Multiple poll workers testified that these many of these ballots were not counted due to improper training on checking voters out, while a number of others simply left due to the wait time, however. Despite testimony from multiple poll workers, Maricopa County election officials opted to certify the election.

“Ladies and gentlemen of the Board of Supervisors, I was a poll worker…. And what I will say that I’ve seen is voters this cycle have in fact been disenfranchised,” the poll worker said. “When they come in, and they bring their ballot, and they can’t turn it in because there’s a line to turn it in. Or they can’t vote, because they were told they cannot check in because they were not able to properly check out at the previous polling center they were at, because we, as poll workers, were not taught how to check out voters at our poll centers,” he continued.

“So if a tabulator goes down and they have to come to our poll center, you know what this means. It means they are still checked in at another poll center and given provisional ballots that are not being counted.”

The poll worker went on to say that only a fraction of nearly 700 voters lined up outside his polling place were able to vote due to the issues and wait times. “And then at my poll center, where we literally had at 7 pm on Election Day 675 people waiting in line. Out of 675, do you know how many came in? 150.”

Election day voters in the state’s largest county were greeted by long lines due to what the Maricopa Board of Supervisors later described as a “printer issue.”

Voters were told that they could either come back later in the day, or submit a provisional ballot that would be “taken downtown” and counted later. The long lines prompted some voters to leave, however, due to other obligations and time constraints.

On Election Day, officials announced that about 20% of tabulators at county polling sites were malfunctioning. The “printer issue” affected roughly 17,000 ballots, which were ultimately counted, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors has claimed.

That figure does not account for voters who left due to the issue, which according to the 14-day center poll worker, affected over 500 voters at his polling place alone.

Despite the irregularities, the board voted to certify the election anyway, with board chair Bill Gates delivering a lengthy statement in defense of their integrity.
